Standard Features:

Made from Demron Fabric, certified to NFPA Class 2 for the 1994 - 2007 Standard on Protective Ensembles for First Responders to CBRN Terrorism Incidents. It offers high gamma energy suppression, reducing Cs 137 by up to 70%.

It provides excellent fragmentation protection with high V50 ratings (e.g., >5426 ft/s for 2gr). It has Level IIIA ballistic protection according to STD 0101.04 and reduces RF transmission.

This shield can double as a suppression blanket for IEDs, RDDs, and RADs. Its outer covering is 1000 denter Cordura, resistant to abrasion, flame, and acid. It's easy to deploy in the field with convenient handles.

This Demron IED/RDD/RAD ballistic shield is a great tool for first responders. To use it, simply grab the handles and position it in front of you. It can also be laid over an IED, RDD, or RAD as a suppression blanket. When handling the shield, make sure to hold it firmly. For maintenance, clean it with a mild soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the outer Cordura covering. Store it in a dry place when not in use to prevent any moisture - related damage.
