These trauma and side plates are engineered to be worn with HESCO torso plates, protecting vulnerable under - arm areas when handling your weapon. They offer cost - effective protection without compromise, using advanced composite materials. With a single - curve design for trauma and side protection, they come in a highly durable, waterproof, polyurethane - coated, Cordura® nylon wrap. Precision quality control ensures top - notch performance. Thickness is 0.59 in (15 mm). Available in two sizes: L110 - SP - SC - L (6.0 x 8.0 in/152 x 203 mm, 2.3 lb/1.0 kg) and L110 - SP - SC - S (6.0 x 6.0 in/152 x 152 mm, 1.7 lb/0.8 kg). Manufacturing tolerances: thickness ± 1/8 in (± 3 mm), width and length +0.00 to - 0.25 in (+0.00 to - 6 mm), and all weights ± 5%. Hesco adheres to a high - standard testing protocol. The NIJ certification involves 10” x 12” test plates, and Hesco provides additional threat performance data.
