Using the Garrett Sea Hunter MK II Metal Detector is quite easy. First, insert the 8 AA batteries that come with it. Then, choose the appropriate stem arrangement according to your detection environment, whether it's on the ground, in the mud, in the surf, or underwater. When you start detecting, turn on the detector and use the All - Metal deep - seeking mode for the best results. If there are a lot of small metal trash around, switch to the Discrete Trash Elimination mode to quickly find your target. For underwater use, make sure all parts are properly connected and submerged according to the depth limit of 200 feet. When it comes to maintenance, after each use, especially if it was used in salt water, rinse the detector with fresh water to prevent corrosion. Store it in a dry place.
