The SEALION-2 is Fisher's top-of-the-line ROV, a high-tech underwater camera system. It's fully mobile and can be controlled from the surface, staying submerged as long as needed. This ROV is great for many tasks like pipeline inspections, river and ocean searches, dam surveys, oil and gas platform work, fish farming, and homeland security operations. It cuts down search time and reduces the risks and high costs of diving operations. When equipped with the RMD-1 remote metal detector, it can find weapons, unexploded ordnance, pipelines, buried treasure, and other metal objects. Both the SeaLion-2 and SeaOtter-2 come with a carry case. The SeaLion-2 has four high-performance motors, making it faster than the SeaOtter-2. It also has a Power Boost feature for extra speed in heavy currents. With a 1,000-foot depth-rated housing, it can operate with cable lengths up to 1,500 feet. It has front and rear color cameras with pan and tilt. The front camera has two adjustable 2200-lumen LED lights, and the rear has a ring of high-intensity LEDs. The system controls are in a high-impact waterproof case with a 15-inch ultra-bright flat-screen monitor in the lid. You can use a compact hand-held controller or a wireless one for more freedom. The control panel is adaptable with jacks and amplifiers. There's a video output jack for an extra remote monitor. The internal video amplifier adjusts picture quality, and you can connect an external DVR recorder. It can also record voice with the video. Options include cable lengths up to 1,500 feet, cable management systems, on-screen display, 2 color side cameras, auto depth control, auto distance from the bottom, computer control, internal and external DVR recorders, video text overlay, manipulator arm, metal detector, scanning sonar, and a spare parts kit.

Using the SEALION-2 is easy. First, make sure you've set up the control console. You can use either the hand-held or wireless controller. Push the vertical joystick to send the ROV down and the horizontal one to move it across the ocean floor. If you're in a strong current, use the Power Boost feature for extra speed. When setting up the cameras, adjust the pan and tilt as you like. You can use the adjustable LED lights for better visibility. For video recording, connect an external DVR recorder to the video output jack. You can also use the internal audio amplifier to record voice. When it comes to maintenance, always check the spare parts kit for any replacements like extra domes, thrusters, or light bulbs. After each use, dry the ROV and the control console thoroughly. Store them in a cool, dry place. And don't forget to check the cable regularly for any signs of damage. Also, follow the safety instructions carefully when operating the ROV to avoid any accidents.
