Ka-bar Tanto Knife

This Ka-bar tanto knife is a favorite among Army Rangers. It features an oval-shaped Kraton G elastomer handle for a comfortable grip. The epoxy powder-coated carbon steel blades are sharpened to 20 degrees with 20 degrees buff-polished edges and have an HRC of 56 - 58. It comes with powdered metal butt caps and carbon steel guards. The 8-inch blade has a 2-inch serrated edge. The Kydex sheath fits a standard web belt, making it easy to carry.

Using your Ka-bar tanto knife is straightforward. Just grab the handle firmly and use it for various tasks like cutting ropes or opening packages. When using the serrated edge, apply a bit more pressure and use a sawing motion. For safety, always keep the blade away from your body and others. When not in use, store it in the sheath to prevent any accidental cuts. To maintain your knife, clean it with a dry cloth after each use. If it gets wet, dry it thoroughly to avoid rust. You can also occasionally oil the blade to keep it in good condition.
