Using the Lansky Blademedic is easy. For dull straight blades, start with the tungsten carbide sharpener. Hold the blade at the right angle and move it across the sharpener a few times. Then, use the ceramic sharpener to polish the edge for a smooth finish. When dealing with serrated blades, use the dedicated ceramic edge sharpener. For fast reconditioning or sharpening gut hooks, the diamond - tapered rod is your go - to. As for maintenance, keep the sharpeners clean after each use. Wipe them with a dry cloth to remove any metal shavings. Store them in a dry place to prevent rust. And always be careful when handling the blades and sharpeners to avoid injuries.
