Product Description

The Petzl I’D® EVAC is a top - notch self - braking descender designed for lowering from an anchor. It comes with an anti - panic function, significantly reducing the risk of accidents. The ergonomic handle gives you comfortable control during descent and is well - oriented for managing loads from the anchor. The AUTO - LOCK system allows the rope to lock automatically without handle manipulation. You can take up the rope after locking without touching the handle. The safety gate lets you install the rope while the device stays connected to the anchor. Compatible with 10 to 11.5 mm ropes, it can handle loads up to 250 kg. It's easy to use with features like a safety gate, rope guide, and anti - error catch. The moving side - plate can be locked shut, and the open auxiliary brake offers more versatility. Available in yellow and black, the stainless steel wear plate enhances its durability.

Using the Petzl I’D® EVAC is straightforward. First, connect the device to the anchor. Then, use the safety gate on the moving side - plate to install the 10 - 11.5 mm rope easily. You can control the descent using the ergonomic handle. There are two descent modes to choose from. If you pull too hard on the handle, the anti - panic function will stop the descent automatically. When you want to lock the rope, use the AUTO - LOCK system. After locking, you can take up the rope without touching the handle. When not in use, the handle will automatically switch to the storage position. Make sure to check the product's Instructions for Use and technical tips at www.petzl.com for maximum working load information. Keep in mind that the maximum working load for one person is 150 kg and for two persons (rescue) is 250 kg. For maintenance, regularly check the stainless steel wear plate and other parts for any signs of damage. If there are any issues, refer to the official Petzl guidelines or contact their support team. The product has a 3 - year guarantee, so you can use it with confidence.
