The Petzl VERTEX® HI-VIZ is an outstanding high-visibility helmet that offers unmatched comfort. With a six-point textile suspension, CENTERFIT, and FLIP&FIT systems, it fits securely on your head. The adjustable chinstrap makes it great for both high-altitude and ground work. Its unventilated outer shell safeguards you from electrical hazards, molten metal splashes, and flames. This modular helmet can integrate a Petzl headlamp, hearing protection, and other accessories to meet professionals' specific needs. The high-visibility version has a fluorescent outer shell with phosphorescent clips and reflective bands, ensuring excellent visibility day or night. It's very comfortable, with the six-point suspension adapting to your head shape, CENTERFIT centering the helmet perfectly using two side adjustment wheels, and the FLIP&FIT system allowing low-position headband placement and easy storage. It comes with interchangeable standard comfort foam. For protection, the DUAL chinstrap lets you adjust strength for different work environments. Shock absorption is achieved through outer shell deformation. The unventilated shell protects against electrical, molten metal, and fire risks. The fluorescent shell and bands provide visibility at all times. It has modular accessories like an eye shield, headlamp mounts, helmet and nape protectors, a nametag holder, changeable chinstrap and foam, and hearing protection. Available in yellow and orange. Head circumference is 53 - 63 cm, and it weighs 495 g. Made of ABS, nylon, polycarbonate, high-strength polyester, and polyethylene. Using the Petzl VERTEX® HI-VIZ helmet is easy. First, adjust the six-point textile suspension to fit your head shape. Use the CENTERFIT side adjustment wheels to center the helmet perfectly on your head. Then, use the FLIP&FIT system to position the headband in a low position for a secure fit. If you need to adjust the chinstrap, the DUAL chinstrap has two positions for different work environments - high strength for work at height and low strength for ground work. You can attach modular accessories like the eye shield using the EASYCLIP side attachment system. For the headlamp, use the provided mounts or elastic headband. When it comes to maintenance, keep the helmet clean by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the materials. Check the shell regularly for any signs of damage such as cracks or dents. If you notice any issues, stop using the helmet and contact the manufacturer. Also, make sure to replace the changeable chinstrap and foam when they show signs of wear. Store the helmet in a cool, dry place, and when not in use, you can fold the FLIP&FIT system into the shell for easy storage.
