Action Targets AR500 Armor Steel CAS Tombstone - Ideal Target Head
This amazing target head is shaped like a tombstone, perfect for official Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS) competitions. It's made of 3/8' AR500 armor steel, offering great durability. Note that the target stand isn't included; you can buy it separately or as part of a target package. It's suitable for cowboy action handgun and rifle rounds (except centerfire rifle rounds) at 10+ yards, and also works well for lead bird and buck shot at 10+ yards.
To use this target head, first make sure you have a suitable target stand, as it's not included. Place the target head on the stand in an open area that's at least 10 yards away from where you'll be shooting. You can use it with cowboy action handgun and rifle rounds, but don't use centerfire rifle rounds. It also works great for lead bird and buck shot. When it comes to maintenance, keep it in a dry place to prevent rust. Check it regularly for any signs of damage. If there are minor dents or scratches, it should still work fine, but if it gets severely damaged, it might be time to replace it.
