Action Targets PT Scout IPSC Classic AR500 Pistol-Rated Target Plates
Our PT Scout pistol-rated target plates are crafted with safety and performance in mind. They have a super-smooth surface. When set up on the PT Scout stand with a 2x4, bullets are safely directed down and away from shooters, reducing bullet splatter and ricochet that everyone at the range will love. Since there are no exposed hooks, brackets, or bolts, these targets meet the highest safety standards.
Range masters and match directors can trust that they're using the safest steel targets out there. Developed with the world's top shooters, this system is perfect for competitive settings and has been tested by pros like Max Michel, Rob Leatham, and the Scholastic Action Shooting Program.
We use plasma cutting on a water table to cut our AR500 steel, minimizing heat-affected zones. Custom-designed hardened studs are welded to the back of the plate. The smaller weld area and attached spring steel bracket make a great sound, helping shooters and scorekeepers easily recognize hits. Changing target heads is a breeze and doesn't require any tools at the range. If the nuts on the bracket ever come loose, there's a 3/8' wrench cut-out on the left and right feet of the PT Scout stand.
We offer a variety of shapes and sizes to suit every competition and shooter. We're proud to provide targets for IDPA, IPSC, USPSA, SASP, Steel Challenge, 3-Gun, and many other competitive groups.

Using these target plates is easy. First, mount the plate on the PT Scout stand with a 2x4. You're ready to start shooting. These targets are recommended for pistol calibers from 10 yards and beyond. When shooting, enjoy the smooth surface that helps direct bullets safely. If you need to change the target head, you can do it without any tools. Just keep in mind that the targets are made for pistol use. For maintenance, the zinc-plated bracket helps prevent corrosion and rust, but it's a good idea to check it regularly, especially if used in wet conditions. Also, make sure to check the nuts attaching the bracket to the target head. If they come loose, you can use the 3/8' wrench cut-out on the PT Scout stand to tighten them up.
