Using this tactical map case is easy. First, open the zipper closure like a notebook to access the interior. Put your maps and documents in the two interior window pockets. You can use an erasable marker to mark coordinates and notes on the clear plastic compartments. Place small gear in the interior mesh zippered pocket and store pens, markers, and rulers in the elastic loops. If you need more space, attach modular pouches to the Loop MOLLE webbing on the exterior. You can also add morale patches or branch names to the loop field on the back. When using it in the field, you can write on the stiff inner board. As for maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Don't use sharp objects near it to avoid damaging the compartments. And when you're done using the erasable marker, clean the marks off the plastic for future use.
