Hesco Testing Protocol
NIJ Certification of hard armor requires 10” x 12” test plates to defeat specific rounds after strict conditioning. Level IIIA needs six .357 sig and six .44 mag per plate. Other size torso plates of the same construction can be included without further NIJ testing. Hesco sets a higher standard by publishing shot - defeat numbers and additional threats.

These Hesco 100 Series P110 trauma plates are meant to be worn alongside HESCO torso plates. Just place them in the appropriate spots on your gear to protect the areas under your arms. Keep in mind that this product is made to order, so it'll take 8 - 12 weeks to arrive. When it comes to maintenance, these plates are highly durable and waterproof. But it's still a good idea to store them in a dry place when not in use. Check the plates regularly for any signs of damage. If you notice anything wrong, don't use them and contact the manufacturer. Also, be aware of the manufacturing tolerances for thickness, width, length, and weight as described in the product details.
