Manufacturing tolerances: Thickness dimensions are ± 1/8 in (± 3 mm). Width and length dimensions are +0.00 to - 0.25 in (+0.00 to - 6 mm). All weights are ± 5%.
Hesco's testing protocol is rigorous. The NIJ certification requires 10” x 12” test plates. Level III needs six M80 rounds per plate, and Level IV needs one AP M2 per plate. Hesco goes further by showing the minimum shots each size plate can handle and listing extra threats.

Attention: These plates are made to order, so it'll take 8 - 12 weeks to get them. Keep in mind the manufacturing tolerances for thickness, width, length, and weight. Don't modify the plates on your own, as it may affect their ballistic performance.
Maintenance: Wipe the plates with a clean, dry cloth regularly. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures or chemicals. If they get wet, dry them thoroughly. Check the plates periodically for any signs of damage. If you notice any issues, stop using them and contact Hesco for advice.
