This Mistral 1964 - B20 ExPen Urea kit is used to detect and identify explosives, especially Urea Nitrate. To use it, you can either use the test paper (#534) or drop the solution directly onto the surface you want to test. The reaction will show a red/orange color within 10 seconds. Remember, the number of tests you can do is between 2 - 4, and it can be affected by how you use the kit. The kit works well in temperatures from 32° to 140° Fahrenheit. Store it at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and high humidity. It has a shelf life of 2 years, but only 8 hours after you break the ampoule.
