Using your Protex HZ-34 Biometric Burglary Safe is a breeze. To open it, you can use your fingerprint if you've registered it. Just press the one-button wake-up and place your finger on the scanner. If you need to use the override keys, find the keyhole and insert the laser key to unlock. For programming, follow the user-friendly instructions to add or remove fingerprint users. When installing, use the pre - drilled anchor holes at the bottom to secure the safe in place. Keep in mind that the safe runs on 4 'AA' batteries. When the battery power is low, use the power override box to open the safe and replace the batteries. Make sure to keep the override keys in a safe place, not inside the safe itself. To maintain the safe, clean the fingerprint scanner gently with a soft cloth to ensure accurate scanning. Also, check the locking - bolts regularly to make sure they are working smoothly.
