Product Description
The PT Scout Pistol-Rated Target Plates are crafted with safety and excellent sound in focus. Each plate has a perfectly smooth surface. When installed on the PT Scout stand and 2x4, projectiles are safely and predictably directed down and away from shooters. At the shooting range, everyone will love how we've reduced bullet splatter and ricochet. Since there are no exposed hooks, brackets, or bolts, these targets meet the highest safety standards. Range Masters and Match Directors can trust that they're using the safest steel targets ever made. Developed with the world's top shooters, this system is ideal for competitive settings and has been proven by shooters like Max Michel, Rob Leatham, and the Scholastic Action Shooting Program. We plasma cut our AR500 steel on a water table to minimize heat affected zones. Custom-designed hardened studs are welded to the back of the plate. The smaller weld area and attached spring steel bracket improve the sound, greatly helping shooters and score keepers recognize hits. Changing target heads is a breeze and doesn't require tools at the range. If the nuts attaching the bracket to the target head come loose, there's a 3/8' wrench cut-out on the left and right foot of the PT Scout stand. We offer various shapes and sizes for all competitions and shooters. We're proud to provide targets for IDPA, IPSC, USPSA, SASP, Steel Challenge, 3-Gun, and many other competitive organizations. Features: 3/8' AR500 steel, smooth surface with no bolts, hooks or brackets, multiple shapes and designs, factory painted target plate, zinc plated bracket to prevent corrosion and rust, recommended for pistol calibers from 10 yards and beyond.
Using these PT Scout Target Plates is easy. First, mount the plate on the PT Scout stand and 2x4. When shooting, the projectiles will be safely directed away. Remember, these targets are recommended for pistol calibers from 10 yards and beyond. For maintenance, since the bracket is zinc plated, it helps prevent corrosion and rust, but it's still a good idea to keep it dry. If the nuts on the bracket come loose, you can use the 3/8' wrench cut-out on the stand to tighten them. Changing target heads is simple and doesn't need any tools at the range.
