Action Targets PT Scout 10' AR550 Rifle Target Circle
The PT Scout rifle-rated target plates are built tough and made to make a sound. Each one is a 3/8' thick heavy-duty AR550 steel plate. We use grade 8 carriage bolts that can handle bullets well and last a long time. If your plate gets worn out from a lot of use, you can easily reverse it with the 3/4' wrench built into the PT Scout stand. When the target is on the stand and 2x4, bullets go safely away from shooters. The big base and good balance keep the target standing up. There are also staking spots on the stand feet for larger calibers or uneven ground.

Using this target is easy. First, mount the target to the PT Scout stand and 2x4. Make sure it's secure. The large footprint and balanced center of gravity will keep it upright, but if you're using larger calibers or on uneven terrain, use the staking locations on the stand feet. When shooting, projectiles will be directed safely down and away from you. If the target plate gets worn out from a lot of use, just use the 3/4' wrench built into the foot of the PT Scout stand to reverse it. Changing target heads is simple and doesn't require any tools. Remember, this target is recommended for rifle calibers up to .308 from 100 yards and beyond, with a max recommended muzzle velocity of 3000 fps at 100 yards. Do not use it with steel core, steel jacket or other AP ammunition. To keep it in good condition, since it has a zinc - plated bracket, it's protected from corrosion and rust. But it's still a good idea to keep it dry when not in use. Also, the factory - painted target plate will look good, but avoid harsh chemicals on it.
