Product Description

The Petzl AVAO® BOD FAST international version harness is a top - notch choice for fall arrest, work positioning, and suspension. It offers all - day comfort with a wide, semi - rigid waistbelt and leg loops that provide excellent support. The lightweight and breathable design maximizes air flow, keeping you cool during work. The foam shoulder straps are widely spaced to reduce neck chafing and distribute the load evenly on the shoulders when the waistbelt is loaded. It has convenient adjustment features. The waistbelt and shoulder straps use self - locking DOUBLEBACK buckles for quick and easy adjustment. The leg loops come with FAST automatic buckles, allowing for fast opening and fastening even when wearing gloves. There's a stowage system for MGO connectors on fall arrest lanyards on each shoulder strap, so you're not hindered by the lanyard and can keep the connectors within reach. In case of a fall, the system releases the MGO connectors. The side attachment points can be folded down to prevent accidental snagging. The DOUBLEBACK self - locking buckles at the rear of the harness offer shorter adjustment when using the dorsal attachment point, ensuring a more comfortable suspension in case of a fall. This harness also makes it easy to carry and organize tools. It has six pre - shaped equipment loops with a protective sheath, two slots for CARITOOL tool holders, and four slots for TOOLBAG tool pouches. The international version has a fall indicator: a red strap appears on the dorsal attachment point after a fall, indicating that the harness should be retired. Specifications include various attachment points like ventral, lateral, sternal, dorsal, and rear on the waistbelt. It's certified to North American and European standards (ANSI Z359.11, NFPA 1983 classe III, CSA Z259.10, CE EN 361, CE EN 358, CE EN 813) and made of nylon, polyester, aluminum, and steel. Available in colors like black/yellow and black, with different sizes (0 - 2) having corresponding waist belt, leg loop, stature, and weight ranges. All models come with a 3 - year guarantee and are packed individually.

Using the Petzl AVAO® BOD FAST harness is easy. First, put on the harness and adjust the waistbelt and shoulder straps using the self - locking DOUBLEBACK buckles to fit your body comfortably. Then, use the FAST automatic buckles on the leg loops to secure them. Make sure to stow the MGO connectors of the fall arrest lanyard in the stowage system on the shoulder straps for easy access. When working, attach your equipment to the appropriate attachment points: use the ventral attachment point for a descender or a single - mode positioning lanyard, lateral attachment points for double - mode positioning lanyards, the sternal attachment point for the fall arrest system, the dorsal attachment point for fall arrest, and the rear attachment point on the waistbelt for a restraint lanyard. Remember, if you experience a fall, check the dorsal attachment point. If a red strap appears, it means the harness has been compromised and you should retire it immediately. For maintenance, keep the harness clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to sharp objects or chemicals that could damage the nylon, polyester, aluminum, and steel materials. Regularly inspect the buckles, carabiners, and loops for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice anything wrong, don't use the harness and consult with a professional.
