Product Description
The PT Scout Pistol-Rated Target Plates are crafted with safety and clear sound in focus. Each plate has a super-smooth surface. When set up on the PT Scout stand with a 2x4, bullets are safely and predictably directed down and away from shooters. Everyone at the shooting range will love how we've minimized bullet splatter and ricochet. Since there are no exposed hooks, brackets, or bolts, these targets meet the highest safety standards. Range Masters and Match Directors can trust that they're using the safest steel targets out there. Developed with the world's top shooters, this system is great for competitive settings and has been tested by stars like Max Michel, Rob Leatham, and the Scholastic Action Shooting Program. We use plasma cutting on a water table to make our AR500 steel, reducing heat - affected areas. There are custom - designed hardened studs welded to the back of the plate. The smaller weld area and the attached spring steel bracket make a louder sound, which helps shooters and scorekeepers easily recognize hits. Changing target heads is a breeze and doesn't need any tools at the range. If the nuts holding the bracket to the target head come loose, there's a 3/8' wrench cut - out on the left and right feet of the PT Scout stand. We offer various shapes and sizes for different competitions and shooters. We're proud to supply targets for IDPA, IPSC, USPSA, SASP, Steel Challenge, 3 - Gun, and many other competitive groups. Features: 3/8' AR500 steel, smooth surface with no bolts, hooks or brackets, multiple shapes and designs, factory - painted target plate, zinc - plated bracket to prevent rust, and recommended for pistol calibers from 10 yards and further.
Using this target is easy. First, mount the target plate on the PT Scout stand along with a 2x4. Make sure it's firmly in place. You can start shooting from 10 yards or more with pistol calibers. When it comes to changing target heads, you don't need any tools. Just swap them out. Be aware that if the nuts on the bracket to the target head get loose, you can use the 3/8' wrench cut - out on the stand's feet to tighten them. For maintenance, since the bracket is zinc - plated, it's resistant to corrosion and rust. But still, after use in wet conditions, dry the target thoroughly. Keep it in a dry place when not in use to extend its lifespan.
